My Life in the Middle School Band

Published June 26, 2013 by Danielle S. Elliott

Do you sometimes feel like you will learn music once you join band?  Well, if yes, then I know how you feel. It all started when I became a Middle Schooler. I had no friends, and I was from Tennessee. No one understood me until I joined band.

After three weeks of learning music, we had to decide on what instrument we wanted to play. I, however, decided on the tenor saxophone. The tenor really suits me, because I can play it very well. And, because I was inspired by my cousin who lives all the way in Washington State, and I am really talented by the music that I play; like “YMCA” or “Hey Soul Sister.”

My mom was proud of me when I told her what I had decided to play. I really want to learn more, but it has its limits. You can play a lot, or you can play a little. It doesn’t matter how much you can do.  You will always have music inside of you.

Well, I have to go, but remember that there will always be music inside of you.

Bieber Fever!!!

One of my favorite music artists is Justin Bieber.  He has been my favorite ever since I was 9 years-old.  Almost every song that Justin Bieber sings, I know every word by heart.

I love Justin Bieber because of his hotness and his awesome music.  I have to admit that I have the Bieber Fever big time, because I have a lot of things with Justin Bieber on it.  For example, I have a watch, a bracelet, a poster, and much more.

I know that is a lot of Bieber stuff!!!

Justin Bieber is not the only music artist I like. There are more music artists out there that are awesome too; like Usher, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Dierks Bentley.

Well, I am off to listen to Boyfriend by Justin Bieber!!!

Arguing with My Sister

About to argue!!!!!

Do you have an older sibling that you sometimes don’t get along with?  If you do, then I know how you feel.

There are times when my big sister and I don’t get along with each other.  We get into arguments.  When we are done arguing, my sister would promise not to argue with me, again. Turns out, that promise only gets kept for three days.

For example, one day we were fighting about whose turn it was to pick a movie for family night. It was a good thing my step-mom stepped in and remembered it was my turn.  Otherwise, the fight would go on for one whole hour.  Now, we don’t fight about that anymore.  We just fight about other things; like who will play the Play Station.

Even though we get into arguments, she is still my sister and I love her.  If you know how it is to fight with your big sister or brother, then take my advice. Don’t take the fight too seriously.

Hi!  My name is Danielle S. Elliott, and I am 11 years old.  I may be 11, but I am already in middle school.  I have two sisters; one is 16 and the other is 5 years old.  My life is sometimes hard when my big sister and I get into fights over one little thing.  Life can be hard when being the middle child, because I have to look up to my big sister and be a role model for my little sister.

I love to play my keyboard and hang out with my best friend.  When I am alone, I like to play my Game Boy or listen to music on my CD player or my MP3.  I have no idea if I want to be a cop, a fashion designer, or a doctor when I grow up.

I am glad I am blogging because now I have the chance to share who I am with other people that really don’t know me.  Wish me HAPPY BLOGGING!!!!!!!
